Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.
Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. Two sets of altar flowers were given for different occasions. The first group of altar flowers was given to the Honor and Glory of God and in memory of Jerry Peddicord’s Heavenly Birthday and honoring all veterans and military service. Any attendee who has served in the Military in any of the branches was asked to stand and be recognized and were thanked for their service to our country. Given by Sharon Jaresh. The second group of altar flowers was given to the Honor and Glory of God and Celebration of Rachel Medrano’s Birthday November 4th. Happy Birthday Rachel! Given by Pastor Frank and Edna.
Pastor Frank reminded attendees the Bible Study Class called We Believe – The Nicene Creed is in progress; however, there will be no class November 13th, 20th, and 27th. Class will resume Thursday, December 4th.

The Morning Message came from the scripture of Luke 20:27-38 and the message was on Marriage and Resurrection. Two Hymns were sung “My Jesus, I Love Thee” and “My Hope is Built”. The Attendees joined hands and attendees were to take the love and peace of Christ with them, and the holding of hands signifies we can’t do this world by ourselves, and we need each other to go through this life.
Lakeway UMC welcomes anyone looking for a church home to come visit. We love visitors and meeting new people.
