Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.

Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. The  altar flowers were given to the Honor and Glory of God and to Celebrate the Birthday of her son, Byron and in Loving Memory of her late husband, Larry.  Given by Sharon Watson.

A Call to Worship, an Affirmation of Faith, and The Apostles’ Creed was recited.  Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, our pianist Catalin Dima played music during the offering and a Pastoral Prayer ending with The Lord’s Prayer.

The Children’s Moment with Linda Lou Wade was titled “Blessings in our Life”.

The Morning Message came from the scripture of Matthew John 1:29-34, and the message was on The Lamb of God.  Two Hymns were sung “On Jordan’s Stormy Banks I Stand” and “I Am Thine, O Lord”. Pastor Frank asked attendees to remember Recognition, Revelation, and Redemption as he covered the lesson.  The Sacrament of Holy Communion was served with everyone invited to the table.  The close of the service ended with attendees joining hands and Pastor Frank asked everyone to hold hands and rely on each other and wished everyone the love and peace of Christ be with all, and then the Service ended.

Lakeway UMC welcomes anyone looking for a church home to come visit.  We love visitors and meeting new people.
