Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.

Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. Attendees were reminded that disinfecting wipes would be collected through next Sunday to be donated to Pottsboro Schools.  The altar flowers were given to the Honor and Glory of God and in celebration of all the upcoming September Birthdays and Anniversaries.  Wishing you a Happy Birthday and many more years of worshipping together.

A Call to Worship was recited, an Affirmation of Faith, and Apostles’ Creed.  Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, the Choir sang during the offering, and a pastoral prayer ending with The Lord’s Prayer.

The Morning Message came from the scripture of Luke 14:1, 7-14 and the message was on Hospitality Pastor Frank went over the 5-10 Link which reminds members and regular attenders to introduce yourself to people you don’t recognize.  Two hymns were sung "Open My Eyes, That I May See" and "Hymn of Promise".  The Service ended with the congregation joining hands, and a reminder that we cannot do life without each other.
