Our 10:30 Worship Service began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.
Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. The altar flowers were given to the Honor and Glory of God and in loving memory of the passing of her sister, Diane Earnest a year ago. We miss you Diane. Given by Bob and Debbie Blackwell.
The Fourth Advent Candle – The Candle of love was lit by Pastor Frank and Edna Alegria and the passage explaining the significance of this candle was read by Rachel Medrano.

A Call to Worship, an Affirmation of Faith, and The Apostles’ Creed was recited. Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, our pianist Catalin Dima played music during the offering and Bruce Murray sang a solo of “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing”, and a Pastoral Prayer ending with The Lord’s Prayer.
The Morning Message came from the scripture of Luke 1:39-45 and the message was on Mary Visits Elizabeth. Two Hymns were sung “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing” and “Silent Night, Holy Night”. The close of the service ended with attendees joining hands and attendees were to take the love and peace of Christ with you, and the holding of hand signifies we can’t do this world by ourselves, and we need each other all the time and everywhere, and then the Service ended.
Lakeway UMC welcomes anyone looking for a church home to come visit. We love visitors and meeting new people.
