Meet Pastor Blake Durham
Joining us in July
I was born and raised in west Texas, spending most of my life and ministry in the legacy Northwest Texas Conference. I grew up in the Midland area graduating from Greenwood High School in 1994. I eventually made my way to West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX where I met my wife Roni at the Wesley Foundation. We were married in December of 1998. We have three children - Averi (23), Aspen (20), and Knight (18).

I felt called into full-time ministry when I was 16 years old while I was attending church camp at Ceta Canyon in the Texas Panhandle. I spent about 20 years as a youth minister in various United Methodist Churches, primarily in west Texas. In 2013, while serving as the youth minister for FUMC Quitman, I received my first appointment to Higgins UMC in Higgins, TX in the Panhandle. In 2020, I was appointed as the associate pastor to St. Luke's UMC in Midland, and in 2024 I was appointed to St. Mark's UMC in Midland.

I attended Course of Study through Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC, completing my basic courses in 2018 and my advanced courses in 2022. I was ordained as an Elder in Full Connection on May 19, 2024. I enjoy watching sports, reading, watching movies and TV, and listening to music.
Grace and peace,
Blake
