Last Sunday's Worship Service: A Review

Our 10:30 Worship began with our pianist Catalin Dima playing various beautiful hymns.  

Dr. Frank Alegria led the service with a welcome to all members, regular attenders, and visitors. 

Flowers for this service were given by Sharon Jaresh to the Honor and Glory of God and in loving memory of her parents Herbert and Frances King and to celebrate all parents on Parent's Day.  

Pastor Frank spoke for the many long time friends of Sharon Stark when he said she would be missed.  While acknowledging she is blessed to be moving closer to her son Darrell, there will be an empty seat every Sunday where Sharon (and Mac) faithfully attended over the years.  May God be with you as you start this new chapter. A Call to Worship was recited, Prayer Concerns and Joys were heard, and the Morning Message came from the scripture of Luke 11:1-13 titled "Prayer Plus".  Two hymns were sung "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "I Surrender All".  The Service ended with attendees holding hands and a send off to take the teachings of Jesus into the world and share it with friends and neighbors.
