Welcome to our website! We are glad you found us, and we hope you find the information here helpful! Lakeway is a congregation that sits in the heart of the lake community of Pottsboro, Texas. Like most lake communities, the people here are relaxed and authentic, and that relaxed authenticity is reflected in the community that worships at Lakeway.
While the dress here is casual, our intention to live our lives of faith with each other and with those around us is very deliberate. We strive to worship authentically because of the way we live together, and to live authentically because of the way we worship together.
WHY JOIN US?
We have members from around the Lake Texoma area, including Sherman, Denison, and Whitesboro. Our worship services are biblically centered and are blended with both traditional and contemporary elements.
We have a wonderful chancel choir, and enjoy singing in our worship services. Like most Methodist churches, our communion table is open to everyone. We enjoy worshiping and fellowshipping with one another and support our community and mission beyond our walls.
